# “I can’t keep working like this” — language matrix (VOC, 2026)

- **Q — exact speaker quote:**
- **I — analyst interpretation / source paraphrase:** поля «что беспокоит», «хочет получить», «interpretation», а также narration вроде “no longer felt overwhelmed” без speaker quote — **исключены**.

# 1. Recognition / problem — 20 strongest phrases

**Почему эти 20 сильнее красивого synthesis:** здесь есть узнаваемые сцены — 10 emails, bathroom, weekend recovery, getting out of bed, Excel dreams, rushing weekdays — и собственные слова о невозможности функционировать.

**Clinical boundary:** “can’t function”, insomnia/migraines, hyperventilation, palpitations, heavy drinking, homelessness и “body shutting down” нельзя использовать лишь как emotive marketing. В активном состоянии это основания для licensed medical/mental-health assessment и safety/referral, а не coaching-only promise.

**Объект недоверия в корпусе:** не столько coach/program, сколько (a) ещё одна смена employer, которая повторит “same old story”; (b) отдых/поездка как magical fix; (c) entrepreneurship как автоматическая свобода; (d) резкий quit без income runway; (e) возвращение после gap с потерей competence/status.

# 8. Desired outcomes — 15 phrases

Наблюдение: desired language значительно конкретнее, чем “transformation”: **break, clock out, confidence, relief, breathe, support, control, impact, fulfilled, possible**.

Языковые readiness markers: **can’t tell, what is this, do I need, reassess, trying to figure out, confirmed, finally, couldn’t bring myself, I don’t know**.

## 11.1 Core direct-speech set: 24

|---|---:|---|---|
| Burnout / exhaustion / marked emotional or functional depletion | **16** | E-1, E-2, E-3, J, E-7, E-8, E-9, E-10, A-1, A-2, A-5, A-6, A-7, A-9, A-10, A-11 | Это доминирующий recognition cluster в core; не показатель prevalence рынка. |
| Работа вторгается за пределы рабочего времени или не даёт “turn off” | **9** | E-3, E-5, J, E-9, E-10, A-2, A-5, A-7, A-12 | Конкретные mechanics сильнее общего “imbalance”: crazy hours, weekends, on call, 24/7. |
| Повторение паттерна / страх, что новая форма воспроизведёт старую | **8** | E-5, J, E-8, A-1, A-2, A-4, A-5, A-7 | “same”, “again”, “over and over”, “repeat”, “24/7” образуют устойчивый cluster. |
| Care / parenting явно участвуют в work decision | **8** | E-1, E-2, E-4, E-7, E-10, A-12, A-13, A-14 | Не сводить к time management: maternity, sole care, eldercare, childcare и re-entry различаются. |
| Identity / confidence / title / career capital / status loss or rebuild | **15** | E-2, E-4, E-5, J, E-7, E-8, E-9, E-10, A-1, A-4, A-6, A-7, A-11, A-13, A-14 | “Who am I?” чаще выражено через career built, confidence, title, reputation, should и underachievement. |
| Leave / break / time off |
| Желание bounded work / control / boundaries / ability to clock out | **9** | E-1, E-5, E-8, E-9, A-6, A-7, A-9, A-11, J | “Autonomy” допустима как secondary label, но front-door wording — clock out, decide, boundaries, life outside work. |

- **burnout / burnt out / burned out** — минимум **7 уникальных женщин**: E-3, E-8, E-9, J, A-2, A-5, A-10.
- **exhausted / exhaustion / running on empty** — минимум **4**: E-1, E-7, E-9, A-9.
- **break / time off / leave / career gap** — минимум **10**: E-1, E-3, E-7, E-8, E-10, A-1, A-6, A-9, A-13, A-14.
- **same / again / over and over / repeat** — минимум **5**: E-5, J, E-8, A-1, A-5.
- **confidence** — минимум **3**: A-1, A-13, A-14.
- **control / decide / boundaries** — минимум **4**: E-1, A-9, A-11, J.
- **uncertainty / don’t know / can’t tell / torn / figure out** — минимум **8**: E-1, E-2, E-4, E-7, E-9, A-1, A-6, A-12.

# 12. Words women use

**О состоянии:** `burnt out / burned out`, `exhausted`, `overwhelmed`, `a mess`, `can’t function`, `running on empty`, `shutting down`, `suffocating`, `anxious`, `torn`, `jaded`, `draining`, `need a break`.

**О цикле:** `same day over and over`, `all over again`, `same old story`, `truly turn off`, `waiting for the weekend`, `weekend recovering`, `push through`, `hit a wall`.

**О work mechanics:** `crazy hours`, `on call`, `worked on weekends`, `9 to 5`, `24/7`, `clock out`, `emails`, `networking`, `hustling`, `scale up`, `who I work with`.

I can’t tell`, `what is this?`, `do I need…?`, `trying to figure out`, `reassess`, `serious change`, `breaking point`, `couldn’t bring myself`, `nothing else lined up`.

**О цене и безопасности:** `living off savings`, `risky`, `uncertainty`, `can financially support themselves`, `lost income`, `paycheck`, `title`, `career gap`, `confidence was very low`.

**О желаемом результате:** `happy and healthy`, `enjoy what I do`, `clock out`, `solvable problems`, `relief`, `breathe again`, `fulfilled`, `confidence`, `support`, `possible`, `in control`, `positive impact`, `life outside work`.

Они начинают со сцены или ограничения: **10 emails, weekends, on call, getting out of bed, kids, savings, title, clock out**.

# 13. Words mainly used by practitioners/analysts — not defensible as front-door copy

- `career liminality`
- `identity transition` / `identity reconstruction`
- `career clarity` как самостоятельный headline promise
- `values alignment` / `aligned career`
- `purpose-led pivot`
- `career reinvention framework`
- `nervous-system regulation` (телесные симптомы есть; этого термина в речи женщин нет)
- `somatic burnout recovery`
- `executive resilience`
- `work–life integration`
- `portfolio career` как language of desire (в A-6 это editorial description модели, не её front-door phrase)
- `sustainable high performance`
- `human-centered work redesign`
- `capacity architecture`
- `self-leadership`
- `whole-person transformation`
- `permissioning` как noun
- `recalibrate`, `realign`, `activate`, `unlock your next chapter`
- `from burnout to brilliance/luminosity`

Более безопасный перевод: не “identity reconstruction”, а **“I started questioning all my life choices”**; не “work redesign”, а **“a job… and clock out in the evening”**; не “autonomy”, а **“I get to decide how it works.”**

---

# 14. Evidence-safe copy hypotheses

|---|---|---|---|
| **“You spend the week waiting for the weekend — then the weekend recovering from the week.”** | Почти дословно E-5; поддержано cluster “can’t turn off / weekends / 24/7”. |
| **“When 10 emails feel overwhelming, ‘push through’ may no longer be a plan.”** | E-7 + E-3 exact language. |
| **“Is this a hard season — or does the way you work need to change?”** | E-1 exact dilemma; J |
| **“Figure out what needs to change before you make another move.”** | E-8 боится “same old story”; J: different organisation, same pattern; A-17/S-17 поддерживает fear of repeat только headline-level. |
| **“A practical decision process for: stay, take leave, reduce the load, or change roles.”** | E-1, E-7, E-8, E-9 и E-10 сравнивают реальные варианты; leave помогает planning в A-6/S-4. |
| **“Build a next step you can afford — without pretending money doesn’t matter.”** | 19/24 core records имеют explicit resource constraint/support; direct language про savings, lost income, affordability. |
| **“You may not need a dream job. You may need work you can clock out from.”** | E-9 exact desire; A-6 показывает burnout в “dream job”. |
| **“Rest can create space to decide. It doesn’t automatically fix what burned you out.”** | A-6: leave → planning; A-2: month insufficient; J: “rest doesn't fix burnout”. |
| **“Changing companies won’t help if the same expectations follow you.”** | Практически exact Jo Hooper; E-8 fear of same old story. | **High** | Это одна сильная named case + corroborating fear, не universal law. |
| **“Start smaller than a dramatic quit: a boundary, leave, an experiment, or a supported return.”** | E-3 small leave step; A-7 staged side clients; A-13 returner program; A-14 internship. |
| **“Work that leaves room for a life outside work.”** | E-5 exact “no life outside work”; E-9 clock-out desire; E-8 happy/healthy/enjoy. |
| **“Rebuild confidence after a career gap — one supported step at a time.”** | A-13 support; A-14 low confidence + internship first step. |
| **“No ‘quit and move to Bali’ fantasy: test what changes the actual pattern.”** | A-2 relocation did not cure burnout; J employer change/rest insufficient; S-2/S-11 headline-only anti-romanticized evidence. | **Medium-high** | “Bali” — editorial headline S-2, не direct body quote; лучше A/B test без географии. |
| **“From ‘I can’t tell’ to a decision you can explain to yourself and your family.”** | E-1 direct dilemma; care + money recur. | **Medium** | Outcome “decision you can explain” — hypothesis, не observed quote. |
| **“Keep the career capital you want; change the parts that are costing you your health.”** | E-2 career built, E-8 progress, A-6 title/paycheck, J change drivers. | **Medium** | “Keep” может быть невозможным; нельзя гарантировать preservation of status/income. |

- “Find your true calling in X weeks.”
- “Quit safely” без реального financial/legal/benefits scope.
- “Heal burnout” или “regulate your nervous system” без licensed clinical pathway.
- “Become an entrepreneur and gain freedom”: A-7 прямо предупреждает о 24/7; A-8 — о failed first model.
- “A sabbatical will reset you”: A-2, A-5 и S-11 показывают, что recovery может не произойти.
- “Women like you are ready to invest”: корпус показывает readiness to decide и уже использованные solutions, но почти не показывает willingness-to-pay за coaching/program.
- “Everyone needs reinvention”: часть женщин хочет не reinvention, а bounded employment, supported return, better employer или leave.

---

# 15. Source-bias и границы вывода

2. **A bias:** 0 Reddit; много Business Insider/ABC profiles.
3. **S bias:** headline/paywall/Google News dependence. Заголовки оптимизированы редакцией под драму (`quit`, `burned out`, `best decision`, `saved my life`) и не должны выдаваться за spontaneous VOC.
5. **Age/geography quality varies:** S-13, S-16, S-19 и S-20 provisional; Daisy Auger-Dominguez и Annie Louey в A имеют incomplete exact-age verification.
6. **Demand не доказан:** corpus доказывает recognition language, recurring dilemmas и used solutions. Cosmos Luminosity.

## Сохранённый update protocol (исполнен в §16)

- добавить пять новых person IDs в lexical coding, затем снова проверить cross-file person/story duplicates;
- не менять текущие counts задним числом без dated changelog;
- сначала классифицировать каждую строку как Q / QH / H / I;
- пересчитать theme recurrence по уникальным женщинам, сохранив текущий snapshot отдельно;

---

# 16. Addendum — A-16–20 (27 октября 2026)

## 16.1 Audit

Проверены Tobi Adekeye (A-16), Jae Park (A-17), Kiki (A-18), Aurora Bryant (A-19) и Mel/Melissa Hoeppner (A-20) против всех существующих женщин E/A/S по имени, возрасту, роли, географии и таймлайну.

## 16.2 Новая language evidence: Q / QH / H / I

| Record | Класс | Exact language | Функция |
|---|---|---|---|
| A-16 | **Q** | “Here I was with all of my boxes ticked off, and I still felt myself asking, ‘What’s next?’” | Recognition |
| A-16 | **Q** | “I have moments of doubt about my decision, but my time away has made me realize how much time work steals from my life.” | Insight и doubt одновременно. |
| A-16 | **Q** | “Sometimes, I wonder if I made a mistake.” | Post-quit objection. |
| A-16 | **Q** | “I'm realizing that I can create my own path and work the way I want.” | Desired agency; paid path |
| A-17 | **Q** | “I wanted out.” | Exit marker. |

**I, не VOC:** “experiment, not success proof” (A-16), “mixed/failed-current-step fit” (A-17), “health improved, finances deteriorated” (A-18), “positive with bounded risk” (A-19), “clinical/product exclusion” (A-20), а также выводы о potential property gains, employability, durability и product-market fit — аналитические labels, не exact quotes.

1. **Gap year как experiment, не гарантированный reset:** A-16 даёт фазы rest → exploration → action, но также doubt и отсутствие tested paid destination.
3. **Reduced hours: functioning лучше, финансы хуже:** A-18 — 15–20 часов remote/self-scheduled work, $16.50/hour вместо примерно $100K/year, depleted savings, personal loan и credit-card debt.

## 16.4 Desired outcomes и objections

**Desired outcomes стали конкретнее:** работать “the way I want” (A-16); получить occupational belonging/support (A-17); перестать быть “a shell… glued to a chair for 8+ hours” (A-18); сохранить expertise, сменив contribution mode на более “sustainable and satisfying” (A-19); вернуть meaningful work и family time (A-20), не объявляя clinical recovery или founder viability.

**Objections стали предметнее:** “Did I make a mistake?” и résumé gap (A-16); course completed, но sponsor/job нет (A-17); bills, debt и household dependence при 15–20 часах (A-18); beginner/dream-identity loss (A-19); “nobody's coming to save me”, capital risk и медицинская неопределённость (A-20).

- Clinical boundary усиливается: autoimmune conditions, severe impairment и health-driven time off остаются в licensed clinical/occupational scope; career support — отдельный, не лечебный слой.
- **WTP conclusion не меняется:** $60 course — occupational prerequisite, founder spend — business investment, а savings, foregone pay, debt и family resources — opportunity costs/enablers.
