# Samui Slow Time

A field note from Samui before going to Phangan.

Margarita arrived on Samui and was preparing to go to Phangan. Time began to slow down.

The morning practice / kriya also felt slowed down, as if the body, the field and the day were entering another rhythm.

Then there was a cafe scene: standing in a cafe, wanting to make an order, but the order still not happening because everything stretched, delayed and became viscous.

## Meaning

This is the approach to [[day-out-of-time|Day Out of Time]] as a lived experience.

Not only a calendar date, but a field state:

- time slows down;
- action becomes stretched;
- ordinary tasks lose their normal speed;
- people begin to pause;
- perception thickens;
- everyone may end up looking at one point.

## Cosmos Luminosity reading

Before a transition, the field can slow ordinary time so that another layer becomes visible.

The delay is not only an inconvenience. It can be a threshold state.

The system stops rushing forward and begins to re-meaning itself.
