# Pollinations Free Image Generation

Use this skill when Margarita asks to generate pictures but wants to avoid paid OpenRouter/FAL/OpenAI/Krea usage.

## Current free route

A helper script is installed at:

```bash
/home/spazio/.hermes/scripts/pollinations_image.py
```

It calls Pollinations.ai directly. No API key is required.

Verified working output:

## Normal workflow

Use terminal, not `image_generate`, when Margarita requests free/no-key image generation:

Supported aspects:

- `portrait` → 768×1024 before crop
- `square` → 1024×1024 before crop
- `landscape` → 1280×720 before crop

Then verify with `vision_analyze`, and deliver to Telegram:

## Quality notes

Pollinations is free and public, so:

- quality is less predictable than OpenRouter/Gemini/Krea/FAL;
- style can look slightly AI/soft;
- the service may add a bottom-right watermark;
- the helper script crops a small bottom band by default to remove the watermark;
- use it for drafts, references, moodboards, quick portraits, concept images;
- for premium/public final images, ask Margarita whether paid OpenRouter/Krea/FAL quality is acceptable.

## Prompt style for Margarita

For Cosmos Luminosity images, use prompts like:

## Important rule

Do not use the `image_generate` tool for Margarita when she explicitly says “not through OpenRouter / not paid”. Use the Pollinations script via terminal instead.

If she wants higher quality without OpenRouter, recommend getting one of these keys:

1. **FAL.ai** — https://fal.ai/dashboard/keys — supported by built-in Hermes image_gen; usually paid/free credits depending on account.
2. **Krea API** — https://docs.krea.ai — high quality but paid.
3. **xAI Grok Imagine** — via xAI OAuth/API if she has SuperGrok/Premium+; configured through `hermes model` / image provider.

For fully free/no-key, Pollinations is the current working route.
